Blog Post #7

Blog Post #7

Quote: “Maturity is the ability to do a job whether or not you are supervised, to carry money without spending it, and to bear an injustice without wanting to get even.”- Ann Landers

For my blog post number 7. I chose to do it based on this quote, I chose to do it based on this quote because it's the quote that speaks to me the most. I think the meaning of this quote is that even though you are unsupervised, having money, & having injustice. You should still have the ability to do your job, save money & not want to get even. The ability to do all this also shows your maturity level also. For example, I think that this quote helps me see how more mature I am no than what I was before. When I was younger I thought that just because no one is watching that I could fool around while doing an important task/job, whenever I got money I could always spend it cause I could always get more, & also when someone did something that I didn't like, I could just get back at them. BUT, me being that age that I am now & maturing up a bit I've realized that even though no one is watching I still need to do a good job at whatever I may be doing, & money doesn't always get handed to you, it's something that you need to earn also because it doesn't grow on trees. I've also realized that just because someone does something to you that you don't like, it doesn't make it any more right to do the same thing back to them.
