Quarter One Reflection

     Looking back from now, to when quarter one had just started. I've come to realization that I've learned a lot of new things that I would've never learned before. 

      Things that I have enjoyed & benefited from are the vocabulary words, & the cellphone addiction essays. Without those two things I would've never been able to expand my vocabulary to what it is now, I can collaborate all kinds of words into my vocabulary. I benefited from the cell phone addiction essays, because at first I thought that a cellphone addiction was a facetious idea, but I've come to notice that it's not, it's actually a really big deal. 

      Am I happy with the grade I will receive in quarter 1? Yes, yes I am happy with my grade (C-). I know it's not the highest of grades but I'm willing to accept that, my grade reflects on my performance in class, & yes I'll be honest my class performance wasn't the best which would explain my grade. My performance in class wasn't the best due to my attendance, participation, turning in my work on time & my work quality. My attendance wasn't always this good this quarter, which is something that I need to work on for the filling quarter, nor was my participation. The biggest struggle that I had this quarter was mainly, turning in my work on time. I'm a big procrastinator, if it's not due that day, I won't do it till needed. That's also a big thing that I need to work on for all my classes, it's become a big detriment to my grades. 

     I think we should continue to keep doing our vocabulary words, but maybe shortening blog posts to every other week? Due to the fact the some students may be overwhelmed with all their homework at sometimes. Another suggestion would be may be also reading current events, so that we are educated about our everyday life out of school too b

     How I will prepare for success in quarter 2 is by working on my procrastination & quality of my work. I need to work on those two things because I do believe that those are what held me back this quarter. But overall I do think that we had a great first quarter.
